Pole Barns

Pole Barns are typically larger buildings, most commonly used for agricultural or commercial applications. They are frequently tall structures to accommodate big pieces of equipment. While they may be set on a concrete slab, pole barns have no floor of their own. The name derives from the construction technique of placing the exterior panels, usually metal, over wood lath attached to evenly spaced support poles. Roofs are also typically metal and use an engineered truss support system.
